DAN ELBORNE

Again, it's been a long while since my last post. Since mid January i've doubled my production of the current main project, Deathgate, which has come at the cost of any kind of online presence. With the 'making' of that work, I have given myself weekly quotas from now until November 2018 (when I plan to complete the work). The doubling of this workload is in order to get 2 months ahead of schedule by the beginning of May, when I will be heading to a 6-weeks artist residency in Onishi, Japan.

I've also been finalising the details and logistics of some exciting exhibitions i'm taking part in this year. Stay tuned for details on shows including my work at the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum and the Science Gallery Melbourne. I've updated my CV with other forthcoming exhibitions if you're interested.

For right now though, and as has been the case since March 2016: most of my studio time will be spent "making rocks."
